SP Group said on 30 September that the household electricity tariff for 1 October to 31 December 2026 drops by 10.4%, or 3.32 cents per kWh before GST, because energy costs are lower. For an HDB four-room flat, the average monthly bill falls by $12.99 before GST. If your landlord charges you a share of utilities, your bill for these months should reflect the lower rate. Ask your landlord to show you the SP bill if you are unsure how your share is worked out.
