Free N95 masks: NEA haze distribution is for vulnerable Singaporeans, collected with an NRIC

If you hold a Work Permit, S Pass or Employment Pass you are not on this collection list, so buy your own mask, and ask your employer for one if you work outdoors.

NEA said on 14 October that the government has begun a phased distribution of N95 masks to vulnerable Singaporeans, with the 24-hour PSI at 118 to 168 and forecast to reach the Very Unhealthy range. Masks come in packs of two from Community Clubs, PA venues, Social Service Offices and haze mask vending machines at selected transport hubs. Those who may collect with an NRIC are Pioneer and Merdeka Generation seniors, CHAS Orange and Blue cardholders, Medical Fee Exemption Card holders and ComCare recipients; pregnant women, children aged 7 to 16 and people with a medical condition such as asthma collect at Community Clubs. Work pass holders are not on that list, and NEA says masks remain on sale at retailers with stock being replenished. NEA also says a healthy person mainly needs an N95 when the PSI is forecast above 300 and they have to be outdoors for several hours; check go.gov.sg/hazemask for locations and stock.
